To achieve this prestigious award, Annabelle completed 100 hours of voluntary service in one year. She is a Young Leader of a Brownies pack, and of a children’s group at St Andrew’s Church. She also helps with a leisure club for the elderly and has raised funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The Gold Award certificate and letter of appreciation, which were signed by the International President of Lions Clubs International, were presented by the President of the Lions Club of Ipswich, Lion Stephen Browne. Annabelle was praised by the Club for demonstrating such a strong commitment to helping to build a better community.

The Lions Club of Ipswich is keen to hear from other young volunteers aged 12 to 18 so that they can encourage and recognise their commitment to serving their community.
